Health, Safety & Environment Engineer BEA (Borg El Arab Gum & Candy Plant) - Egypt

Join us for an exciting career opportunity in the Safety function, in the capacity of Health, Safety & Environment Engineer BEA (Borg El Arab Gum & Candy Plant) - Egypt. This role is based in the Borg El Arab factory.

The role of the Health, Safety & Environment Engineer is to Support in the execution of daily activities of all HSE Management programs on site, as well as implementing and maintaining the HSE policies.

Main responsibilities:

- Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions
- Support HSE inspections, audits and self-assessments
- Manage the sustainability agenda and energy reduction road map
- Execute environmental management processes, chemicals, waste management and pollution prevention
- Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs.
- Handle safety assessments

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

- 0 -2 years of experience.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Previous experience in similar industry, HSE or manufacturing field
- Problem solving: Proactive & resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative & practical solutions in dynamic environment.
- University degree in related field
- Fluency in English & Arabic
- Proficiency in MS Office
