Thales has built a presence in Egypt for over 40 years and has today over 100 employees. Thales in Egypt is part of our Middle East business that has 1,800 people across Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, KSA, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar and UAE.Together We delivered fare collection and control and communication systems for the first metro line in Africa, Metro Line 1 in Cairo. Since then we have continued to bring growth and security and safety to the country by upgrading these transportation systems as well as providing solutions for customers in air traffic management, air defence and Navy.

Main Responsibilities:

- To be aware of, and play an active role in the development and implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System and Policy Statements to ensure that these are implemented within their area of responsibility;
- Understanding of personal responsibilities and contribution, and those of their staff (including subcontractors) in achieving compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System and Competence Management System requirements, control measures and legal requirements by contributing to, or leading environmental impacts and aspects assessments, job safety analysis, information security risk assessments and competence assessments within their area of responsibility. Ensure that the results of such assessments are embedded in management systems, that these systems are communicated to those affected. Ensure that staff understand them and the potential consequences of departure from the arrangements in place;
- To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within their departments and among subcontractors and third parties working in Thales's controlled premises/systems
- Ensure that a good Health, Safety, and Environmental culture is promoted within their departments and among their peers, subcontractors and third parties;
- Lead by example and ensure that ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimize the generation of waste are identified within their area of responsibility
- Conduct regular reviews on the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System Performance within their departments and seek ways to continually improve.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

- At least 3 years' experience in relevant construction/site works.
- OSHA General & OSHA Construction is Mandatory
- OSHA Professional & Management 132 hours is preferred
- SCP Certified is mandatory
- Lifting and Rigging Experienced
- Experience in HSE on sites , constructions , appliance ,
- Good communication skills, independent, analytical, able to work under pressure.
- Good in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of MS Office
