Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Incident management system configurations:
- Create custom ticketing reports.
- Define custom KPIs.
- Update custom ticket categories.
- Update custom ticket priority or status.
- Create and update operations team accounts with required access and permissions.
- Custom ticket parameters

True sight configurations:
- Create custom reports as per operations team Requirements.
- Configure updates for nodes to be monitored (add, remove, update nodes)
- Customize monitoring thresholds and trap thresholds as needed.

Patching:
- Configure the tool to download patches from new online sources as needed.
- Monitor and fix issues with patching module.

Discovery:
- Monitor discovery process for infrastructure elements.
- Perform manual discovery as needed.
- Configure the discovery tool to add new nodes or new subnets.
- Monitor synchronization of discovered items into CMDB
- Troubleshoot and fix issues.

Capacity management:
- Assist in customizing thresholds and metrics (OpenStack, VMware, storage, servers, network, databases) as per operational requirements.
- Assist capacity manager for reporting and Planning.
- Define custom reports as per operational requirements.
- Review tool recommendations and coordinate with the operations manager
- Configure new nodes in the tool as needed.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues.
- Asset Management related tasks specific to Cloud Platform

Requirements

Requirements:
- 4+ years of total experience in related field
- Relevant IT certifications (or equivalent training/experience)
