Job description / Role
DAR Engineering, a leading design & engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia engaged in Power Generation, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Health Care & High Rise Buildings
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the architecture section, overseeing the design process.
- Develop conceptual designs and prepare detailed design drawings using BIM software (Revit) for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to design team.
- Review and approve design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with other related engineering all disciplines [Architecture, Structural, MEP & Infrastructure] to ensure project requirements are met.
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to effectively communicate project progress and findings.
- Able to anticipate problems and make the necessary proactive steps to prevent them
- Ability to take necessary and proper timely decisions.
- Deliver the required results in timely manner with required quality and cost.
- Able to transform the corporate goals into business plans.
- Able to Plan, follow-up and execute those plans, whether they are annual or development plans.
- Monitor the plan performance and initiate action to strengthen results and take the corrective action accordingly.
- Provide periodic work progress reports.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering.
- 14-16 years of experience in architectural design and modeling using BIM software along with team management experience or traits preferably with exposure to the Gulf Region projects.
- Experience working with multinational design consultants is a must.
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
