Employment: Full Time

Role Purpose:

The role supports the Transformation team in defining, designing and implementing lean process improvements across relevant parts of the Vodafone Business Products and Services operations. This function and its deliverables will enable the Strategic Programmes and Transformation team to uncover issues and bottlenecks to enable mitigation plans to be implemented, as well to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains. Building upon the introduction of key facets of the Product Operating Model, the Transformation Team are integral to ensuring Vodafone Business continues to accelerate growth across the strategic products whilst driving simplicity.

Key accountabilities:

- Perform data gathering, process mapping, root cause analysis and performance monitoring to develop appropriate process improvement recommendations.
- Identify and accurately map the current end-to-end processes of key operations and functions within VBP&S.
- Evaluate mapped business processes for the purpose of identifying and executing on improvement initiatives.
- Analyse process flows detailed activities to determine key performance metrics for measuring baseline operational performance.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis sessions, solution design workshops and analyses activities to diagnose root challenges and distil process flows and data into meaningful insights.
- Define and prioritise process change requirements based on the critical effort needs.
- Determine impact of recommended efforts, measure impact, and quantify success metrics.
- Define implementation plan, identify required resources and cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders.
- Create and manage work plans including project staffing, project approach, resource requests to be reviewed with managers.
- Oversee process change implementation and testing, and review changes to ensure they will result in measurable organisational improvements.
- Lead components of work plan, sometimes independently, to ensure complete delivery by responsible teams.
- Produce project documentation, research briefs, meeting materials, analysis, graphics, best practice presentations, benchmark info and interim and final deliverables.

Requirements

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

- An understanding of Vodafone Business strategic products
- 3-5 years relevant experience in process improvement initiatives
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or Kaizen events highly desirable
- Robotic process automation (RPA) experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical background and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work with diverse virtual and cross-functional teams, and manage stakeholder relationships
- Ability to analyse large data sets
- Proven ability to lead project teams to successful outcomes
- Eagerness to learn and explore new ways of working
