Network Implementation Manager

Job description / Role

- Under general supervision, performs overall implementation and integration of the data and voice network including participation in planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the Bank’s data and voice network. A technical contributor with good knowledge and experience in the area of data and voice networking and related hardware/software. Maintains technical expertise and may study selected vendor product to determine best match to company needs and be able to manage the related day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving
- Coordinating with related Teams to ensure segregation of Tasks, and cooperation with these teams to Achieve overall IT tasks and business Goals when applicable by covering common areas effectively
- Planning the Network Architecture implementation within his sphere of responsibility, to ensure proper operation of network infrastructure
- Coordinating and allocating resources ,to ensure all team resources are properly utilized to deliver required results
- Managing network part of the projects, to ensure proper and successful project network implementation
- Optimizing costs of networking related projects when applicable, and hence trying to reach minimum costs for any network related part in any project
- Aligning network solutions with business goals, to ensure these goals are achieved smoothly when applicable

Requirements

8 years’ experience (preferred at least 3 in banking/Financial sector)

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a related Field, preferable in the Telecommunications or Computer Science Fields
- CCNA
- CCNP
- CCDP
- CCIP, ITIL and voice certificates preferred

Job specific Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in networking protocols and methodologies.
- Knowledge of networking standards and practices.
- Technical Troubleshooting Skills in the Data and Voice networking.
- Technical documentation skills.
- Ability to execute and implement a range of configuration tasks on networking devices.
- Ability to participate effectively in the design and implementation plans of network related parts of the IT projects
- Experience in dealing with users to achieve customer satisfaction
