Summary:
As a Network Security Engineer at Orange Egypt, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our organizations critical assets. Your mission? Duties and Responsibilities:
- Security Solution Architect:
- Configure and manage a suite of network security solutions, including Firewalls, Web Gateways, Mail Gateways, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective security measures.
- Provide expert guidance on network security-related solutions.
- Vigilant Monitoring:
- Keep a watchful eye on the health of our network security solutions.
- Monitor network traffic patterns for any signs of suspicious activity.
- Swiftly respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Vendor Liaison:
- Work closely with technology vendors to address technical challenges beyond our capabilities.
- Manage patching and updates to keep our security infrastructure robust.
- Technical Support and Documentation:
- Provide technical assistance to IT staff and end-users regarding security issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security operations.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance our overall security posture.
- Implement best practices, such as Zero Trust Access, Defense-in-Depth, and Micro-Segmentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in network security.
- Hands-On Expertise: Proficiency with WAFs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Gateways, Email Gateways, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with F5 WAF, Forcepoint, and Juniper Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Protocols and Standards: Deep understanding of network security protocols (SSL, AAA, RADIUS) and encryption standards.
- Principles and Practices: Strong grasp of network security principles, including Zero Trust Access and Defense-in-Depth.
- Operating Systems: Fair knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, virtualization, and microservices.
- Certifications: Certifications such as JNCIP-SEC, CCNP Security, or Security+ are highly valued.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Strong collaborative and communication skills.
