About the role

Purpose of the job

To manage and maintain redhat OpenStack environment and its components.

Duties and responsibilities
- Day to day operations of the systems including Systems Administration, Monitoring performance and Enhancement.
- Monitor, Maintain, and troubleshoot of OpenStack Cloud Services, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Maintain and troubleshoot integration between OpenStack and other systems.
- Manage, coordinate, and administrate of software upgrades, updates, patches, and hot fixes.
- Create and update the technical documentation for Linux servers and OpenStack environment.
- Work closely with the Backup team to ensure the backup operations with the best practices.

Requirements

Job specification

Education
- Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science from a recognized university.

Experience
- Must have at least 6 years of experience in RedHat OpenStack administration with Advanced setup, Implementation, Configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift and RedHat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Monitoring, Maintaining, and troubleshooting of OpenStack Cloud Services, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Manage, coordinate, and administrate of software upgrades, updates, patches, and hot fixes.
- Hands on experience on RedHat Satellite Administration.
- Hands on experience on IBM Cloud Pak.
- Hands on experience on OpenStack Ironic Bare Metal.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Very Good knowledge in Linux/Windows operating systems.
