Job Description & Summary
A career in People Analytics & Insights - you will work closely with key stakeholders across leadership to develop clear and insightful analysis and dashboards relating to people data, and be responsible for supporting the driving of people, commercial, and key business decision-making processes within the firm

The People Analytics & Insights function is responsible for delivering insights and solutions to PwC leadership across a number of key people areas, including: employee performance, learning & development, retention, and engagement.

As the People Analytics Data Scientist (Senior Associate), you'll support the function's agenda to deliver data-driven people insights to inform business decisions and strategy imperatives. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data cleaning, statistical analyses, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities for this role include:

- Supporting people data-driven projects - inclusive of proof of concepts and enabling initiatives (e.g. data gathering, data joining, data governance
- Researching, developing, and implementing new statistical learning models or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysi
- Dive deep into complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and relationship
- Cross-validating models to ensure their generalisability
- Deriving insights from multiple complex datasets and interpreting findings to inform business and human capital decisions
- Visualising results and communicating ideas and actionable insights to senior team members and leadership

Requirements

Preferred skills

- Advanced degree in Data Science / Data Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar
- An understanding of machine learning concepts and its statistical & mathematical concepts, inclusive of predictive analysis
- A strong knowledge of database & big data management systems
- Experience in programming languages such as PySpark, Python, and SQ
- Proficiency in statistical analyses, machine learning data preparation and toolkits, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch
- Proficiency using cloud data data platforms, such as Azure, GCP, and Databricks
- Proficiency in the use of visualisation tools, such as Tableau and Power B
- Demonstrable history of devising and/or overseeing data-centric project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to relay complex data insights in layman's terms, such that it can be used for business decisions
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel and designing presentations in powerpoint
- Capacity to foster a healthy, stimulating work environment that frequently harnesses teamwork
- Compliance with prevailing ethical standards

Additional Job Description - Minimum Experience
