Your Role and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

- Drive Business results
- Identify and hire employees with the right skills, cultural fit and alignment to the Geo resource strategy; work with IBM HR to recruit, hire and on-board best fitted team members
- Ensure the team has deep practice skills, incorporating latest tools, processes and standards for each area, getting professional certifications
- Supporting each team member to build meaningful and ambitious development plans, aligned to their career aspirations
- Coach employees to align to discipline strategy and assist in case of conflict resolution
- Evaluate employees (e.g. Checkpoint) and administer HR practices and policies (e.g. salary, GDP)
- Consistently support and coach the team, to overachieve their business performance objectives
- Have regular interlocks with line of business leaders on results, hiring, resource deployment
- Coach / guide the team on addressing the challenges to accelerate business growth
- Build on the team success, making sure their individual and team achievements are known, shared and recognized.
- Foster an agile and data driven working environment - fast decisions, actions, continuous learning, testing, optimization, etc
- Work with other leaders across other Centers for best practices, governance and sharing for the optimization of process and timing.
- Ensure each team member perform against their given responsibilities and marketing targets/specific objectives.
- Foster a culture of trust, integrity, employee engagement, team work and personal responsibility.

Requirements

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

Key requirements:

- Previous experience in people development and management, cross -discipline management.
- Previous experience in driving the development of professional skills, collaboration and best practice sharing through fostering a strong sense of teaming and community.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Ability to manage multiple different stakeholders.
- Coaching and guiding skills, helping the team to overcome challenges.
- Confidence, flexibility and high personal responsibility.
