DESCRIPTION
Amazon Egypt Marketplace team is looking for a Program Manager to own and manage strategic, cross-functional projects to drive business growth. This high visibility role will require working with business and product teams across the company and around the world to define, prioritize and deliver key enhancements to our Selling Partner solutions across fulfillment channels. The candidate will work closely with Sales, Account Management to understand Selling Partner feedback that will guide strategic and tactical innovation. They will also analyze the performance of Egypt fulfillment channels to identify opportunities for further growth and translate these into initiatives that they will implement with business and product teams. Successful candidates will have tremendous bias for action, have excellent problem solving abilities and the creativity to spot and action new opportunities. They will need to prioritize effectively across multiple areas and communicate clearly at all levels. They will have a proven track record of building successful partnerships and delivering initiatives in a matrixed organization. They will also have experience in managing others in delivering on projects.

The ideal candidate has
• At least 5+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods space OR 5+ years of experience in managing business for P2P transactional platforms.
• An independent self-starter who thrives in connecting people and ideas and has a strong entrepreneurial drive.
• Ability to define efficient and scalable processes that balancing customer expectations and Amazon costs.
• Strong negotiation abilities and financial acumen, a high degree of ownership and integrity, and a high attention to detail.
• Excel at communication and are comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization.
• Ability to influence executive decision-makers, helping them to understand the proposition of the used and open box business.
• Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive growth and process improvement for your business.
• Is able to manage multiple competing priorities smoothly.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
• Extensive professional experience (5-7 Years), in complex and dynamic environment ideally in e-commerce, technology, FMCG, retail or top-management consulting.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and good business judgment
• Ability to think strategically, gather and interpret data, and make business recommendations to senior stakeholders in the organization
• Proven experience in managing, building and developing a high performance team
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English (including experience reviewing results with senior management and working in a global team setting)
• A strong background in product management, vendor/partner management, management consulting, or finance is required
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Take the initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy
• Excellent analytical and data-mining aptitude, coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to create innovative new programs that generate results
• Proven track record collaborating successfully with internal and external partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or related Master’s degree
• Familiarity with SQL (basic queries)
• P&L responsibility and experience delivering strong financial results
