Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:
Responsible for all real estate related matters within the region ensuring that the business has appropriate facilities to meet its short and long term needs.The role covers the complete property lifecycle from development of strategy, business case, implementation and management in use. Leads the respective team and it ?s activities with the support of the COE’s. Develops relationships with vendors and Business and Modality leaders.

Essential Responsibilities:
Build and develop strategic relationship with key stakeholders – regional CFO’s business, Modality, Functional and P & L heads Understand and document, business unit objectives, strategies and metrics as background knowledge for alignment of real estate with the business & specific business needs for each location (i.e. growth/contraction, type of building, location requirements, location preferences, and current and planned occupancy levels) Develop and implement the real estate strategy for the region including business case development Develop and Manage the budget for site transactions including fit out of new premises Identify operational and financial risks. Participate in discussions with the local property management teams regarding site performance and budgets. Working with the C o E’s, develop and implement the ‘Best Practices’ as they apply to real estate and facilities Achieve service delivery goals through the use of performance management and quality assurance systems. Establish delivery outcomes in contracts rather than directing delivery, to enable alliance partners to creatively manage their resources while achieving higher accountability. Manage through ‘out sourced’ providers, the negotiation of new leases, relocations, renewals, subleases, owned property dispositions and early terminations. Ensure seamless communication, consistent follow up and timely receipt of all deliverables from project and facilities management teams, legal counsel (internal/external), analyst and external brokers.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
BSc in Estate Management / Land Management / Surveying. Masters In Corporate Real Estate ( Corenet ). 10 years of experience. Good financial / analytical skills5. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships with senior business stakeholders. Programme / Project Management experience – managing multiple activities

Ability to identify & implement best practices. Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
