Job description / Role
Our client is an international consultancy; they urgently require a Risk Manager with extensive experience on large scale rail projects to join their team in Cairo. This position is on a 5 month full time contract followed by a part-time home based assignment until the assignments completion.
Key Responsibilities:
The objective of Risk Management is to assist the Program Team in the successful achievement of the Program objectives by:
• Comprehensively identifying Risks that might impact on the achievement of the Program Objectives
• Accurately assessing the potential impacts of the identified Risks
• Prioritizing the requirements for Risk response identification
• Formulating appropriate responses to the identified Risks
• Quantifying adequate cost and time provisions for post-response residual Risk impacts
• Controlling the implementation of identified Risk responses
• Monitoring changes in Risk exposure, identifying new Risks and modifying responses
Salary:
USD
12,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any relevant subject
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering
• Experience of developing multilateral financial institutions
• Experience of working in a developing country is preferred
