Senior Contracts Engineer

Job Summary
• The Senior Contracts Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing and supporting the administration of design contracts between K&A and its clients.
• He supports project teams with contractual advice and activities throughout the design project lifecycle, including proposal development, design delivery and tendering stages.
• The jobholder contributes in preparing the terms and conditions for K&A’s project cooperation agreements with external parties (e.g. joint ventures, partners, suppliers).
• He conducts analysis on the organization’s overall contractual risk exposure and recommends mitigation measures to address risks

Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management
• In depth knowledge of FIDIC
• Preferable to be CLAC certified
• Experience: 15 years in construction contracts preparation and in contracts administration for international projects

Skills
• Familiarity with local laws regulating the engineering and construction sectors in the Middle East
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good attention to details, efficiency, and quality
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is an advantage
