Job Description

Support Engineer, you will assume a leadership role within the service desk team, providing technical expertise and support to end-users while ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. Your responsibilities will encompass advanced troubleshooting, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT support processes:

Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal server operation.

Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and troubleshoot network protocols and services.

Security:
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
- Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.

Backup and Recovery:
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical systems and data.
- Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity.

User Account Management:
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Ensure compliance with security policies for user authentication and authorization.

Software Installation and Updates:
- Install, configure, and update software applications and system utilities.
- Evaluate and test new software releases for compatibility.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with helpdesk and support teams for incident resolution.

Monitoring and Reporting:
- Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and generate reports.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.

- Microsoft Windows Configuration & Administration
- Active Directory, Configuration.
- Windows Server Network Configuration.
- Cisco CCNA.
- Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices .
- Microsoft ISA Server 2006
- Microsoft Exchange Configuration
- Avaya telephony system.
- Knowledge of Manage Engine ITSM
- Active Directory User Management
- Managing & Configuring of Exchange Server 2007,2013 Cloud troubleshooting hardware devices
- Installation and Configuration of Apache Server
- Avaya Systems knowledge
- Office 365 Support and Administration
- Implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices
- Knowledge of ISA Server
- VMware virtual machine
