Job description / Role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure systems within the technical office environment, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Collaborate with technical office teams to assess infrastructure needs and develop solutions that align with project requirements and timelines.
- Lead the implementation of new technologies and initiatives to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and security within the technical office environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to technical office operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures within the technical office.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technical office staff, assisting with skill development and knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet the current and future infrastructure requirements of the technical office.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity within the technical office, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect infrastructure assets and sensitive data within the technical office environment.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related emergencies within the technical office as needed.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Excellent project management skills.
