Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role purpose

Frontend Developer Responsibility:

To support the marketing team's activities by creating all the necessary digital assets and parts of a campaign. To work closely with marketing automation specialists, designers, copywriters, campaign managers and field marketing managers to create/update HTML emails, responsive landing pages and microsites. To ensure that an appropriate code base is being maintained and used by frontend developers in Marketing, which supports efficiency and brand aligned development.

Generic Marketing Responsibility:

Consult, educate and teach junior and experienced frontend developers to new techniques, methods and trends of the coding field in general. To continuously look for new technologies, coding languages, software and trainings that could improve the knowhow and quality of work of frontend developers in the wider organization. Make recommendations to management on new trainings for frontend developers. To support the t-shaping of related areas with frontend skills.
Lead Generation Operational Responsibility Working together with account managers to understand complex or custom customer requests and translate them into well thought through, actionable projects. Consult account managers on required effort from team to fulfil custom requests and support in feasibility assessment and scoping.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Contribute best practice and expertise to the team to ensure that marketing has best in class knowhow on frontend development
- Monitor trends and trainings in his/her field to make recommendations for training of the team
- Ensure that projects including frontend requirements are carried out in high quality in a timely manner
- Technical consultancy and coordination between third parties involved in projects (suppliers, in house teams, etc.)

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- 7+ years of experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript framework technologies
- Experience in delivering high value campaigns and/websites and presenting them to the stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, effective prioritisation and good deadline management
- Team player, strong influence and relationship management skills along with educational capabilities
- Marketing Automation software knowledge (Plus)
- Technical consultancy to account managers and partners on complex and custom projects
- Create and execute unit, E2E and UI testing
- To organize and present the frontend weekly meeting on a department level
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Conversational level English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work across virtual teams

Requirements

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- University degree, BA Level
- Knowledge in programing design patterns ( MVC, Singleton, Factory, Presentation etc)
- Experience implementing business logic for complex web application with database connection, or backend service API request handling
- Experience in Agile based software development
- Capability to write clean well documented code
- Experience in CSS3 properties
- Experience building single page applications
