Job Description

As a Senior Planning Engineer in the industrial sector, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing project planning processes to ensure successful execution across various projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize industry-standard tools and techniques, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and deliverables.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, resources planning, identify milestones, critical path, and budgets continuous review for company projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, manufacturing, and Quality Department to gather project requirements, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Utilize industry-standard project management tools and techniques to monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with Clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project milestones, resource allocation, and potential roadblocks, fostering transparent communication and alignment across teams.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and align project plans with client expectations, delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Champion a customer-centric culture within the project management team, emphasizing the importance of understanding and prioritizing client needs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Play a pivotal role in the bidding cycle by contributing expertise in project planning and resource allocation to develop competitive proposals that address client needs effectively.
- Follow up with Logistics & Procurement department to procure necessary resources, equipment, and services for project execution, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and senior management, summarizing project performance, key learnings, and recommendations for future projects.
- Champion all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards applicable to industrial engineering projects, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment for all personnel involved.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancement, contributing to the continuous improvement culture within the organization.
- Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to capture and share best practices, lessons learned, and project documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer within the organization.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial engineering and project management. Integrate relevant innovations into project planning and execution strategies.

Requirements

Personal Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Technical Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in Project Management or in a related area preferably in Manufacturing and or Industrial sector
- Planning and Project Management background is a must.
- Supply chain background.
- PMP or any relevant certifications.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex project data and metrics.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial engineering projects.
- Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
