Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

What you will do..

Role purpose: Operations and support as 3rd line to the customer IT system.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Timely response and support n resolution of customer escalated cases.
- Identifying root cause and handling incidents at the problem management level.
- Participation in the deployment and support of IT systems and applications.
- Update current software systems, patching and making improvement suggestions.
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code/tools for monitoring, alarming and support of IT systems and applications.
- Assist in preparation for production deployment of software components' release.

Key performance indicators:
- Operational KPIs (SLAs, MTTR, first time resolution ...).
- Frequency of repetitive cases.
- Customer Satisfaction. Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Deliver under pressure.
- Flexibility to work under stress.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) a must;


Requirements

Must have technical/ professional qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree Computer Science / Engineering or related field.
2. Familiarity with Linux system administration concepts.
3. Basic understanding with network protocols and components.
4. Basic understanding of basic database administration.
5. Basic understanding of Application servers like tomcat and Apache httpd server
6. Good Knowledge of SQL.
7. Basic understanding of web architectures and web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.).
8. Nice to have Knowledge of Microservices architectures and frameworks like Spring Boot
9. Basic understanding of virtualization and virtualization software.
