This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes

How you will contribute

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

More about this role

The Regional Sourcing Manager supports the development of Spend Area practices for assigned regional Spend Areas, including sourcing strategy execution, and stakeholder management, to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. This person works closely with the regional business and global Spend Area teams to develop global and regional strategies, facilitate best practice sharing and drive advantaged cost, quality, service, and compliance to the organization.

What you need to know about this position:

- Support global strategy development and planning
- Support strategy alignment and execution for regional and local Spend Areas
- Lead contract implementation and drive contract compliance as per globally agreed Procurement policies for selected global and multi-regional Spend Areas
- Execute local or regional items and spot buys
- Support management of internal customer relationships related to defined Spend Area portfolio
- Support cross functional sourcing team through-out the strategic sourcing process

Education / Certifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business
- Master's Degree is a plus

Job specific requirements:

- 10 years of relevant experience
- Strategic sourcing in Marketing
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Good Company
- Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation - 7 Steps Sourcing Process
- Project Management and Communication
- Relationship Management
- Analytical and Problem Solving
