DAR Engineering, a leading design & engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia engaged in Power Generation, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Health Care & High Rise Buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Major experience in Stormwater and flood protection projects, including experience in managing design Stormwater projects with all related facilities.
- Extensive practical design experience in SuDS / green infrastructure, gravity piped and surface drainage.
- Design Experience in surface drainage, retention ponds, infiltration basin, swales, ditches, culverts, and channels.
- Experience in analyzing Hydrology and Analysis of storm drain and open channel systems.
- Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic studies to determine the impact of development on stormwater runoff.
- Prepare and develop hydraulic models for gravity networks, design reports, and conversant with design software like Bentley Storm CAD.
- Collaborating with government agencies to obtain permits and approvals for stormwater management systems.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders on stormwater design and management.
- Ability to carry out Civil3D Modeling of Site Infrastructure Wet Utilities (gravity networks).
- Responsible to produce utility drawings and cross-sections.
- Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Coordination with other disciplines (Architecture, Structure, Landscape, Electrical, and Mechanical) for all project design stages.
Requirements
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree is preferable.
- 5-10 years of experience in the design of gravity networks with major experience in storm drainage networks.
- Conversant with Authority regulations such as NWC, MEWA, MOMRA, SBC-801, NFPA, SIO, and other relevant authorities within the Gulf region.
- Experience in hydraulic Analysis, and Calculations. Proficiency in Civil3D Design, SewerGEMS, Storm CAD, Pond Pack, Flow master, Culvert Master, HY-8, HEC-HMS & HEC-RAS.
- Knowledge of the latest software like Civil3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Experience in the analysis and conversant with 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling and calculations using manual computation and computer programs.
- A team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and excellent reporreport-writingls.
