About the role

Purpose of the job

Optimize Radio network parameters and features to maintain quality KPIs and improve customer perception.

Duties and responsibilities
- Improve 2G/3G/LTE KPIs (CSSR, CDR, SHO and ISHOSR) according to department targets
- Improve 2G/3G/LTE Data KPIs (throughput, latency, CSSR, CDR) according to department targets
- Daily monitors 2G/3G/LTE KPIs and send corrective actions for hardware and quality problems
- Comply with NTRA regulations and thresholds to avoid any quality violations
- Audit critical Parameters periodically and take corrective actions to restore defaults and manage exceptions
- Manage special events, assuring the required capacity and coverage requirements to guarantee quality of service
- Review & validate the Capacity development inputs including calendar Events preparations, Upgrades, Downgrades. Etc
- Manage special projects such as SRAN swap, VIP Axes measurements, national roaming, RAN Sharing etc according to project plan and department objectives
- Detect and escalate External Interference to concerned parties
- Initiate and report trials related to new parameters & features to achieve the KPI targets and improve quality of service
- Troubleshoot in-field problems by drive tests and log file analysis for 2G/3G/LTE voice and data to resolve quality problems
- Lead re-design streams to improve coverage and quality by changing antenna configuration
- lead NTRA project streams to improve NTRA results and achieve target competitive position
- Respond to the VIP and Customer complaints from Quality of service dept. within agreed SLA
- Provide configuration for new sites including FP, NBRs, XMLS for parameter settings,..
- Request and Validate Frequency Plans according to traffic growth and quality KPIs

Requirements

Job specification

Education
- Bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering

Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in relevant field.

Skills and abilities
- Data analysis skills, ability to interpret data from various sources with the aim of identifying patterns and trends.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and to act proactively.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to use Drive test tools and KPI monitoring tools.
