You will:

As Transportation Data Analyst within Planning Central team your role will focus on be responsible for executing daily forecasts, labour scheduling, and transportation performance control, playing a key role in our daily operations.

• This will be done through the use of tools and coordination with Amazon sites, you will be accountable for cost, customer experience, and delivery partner experience.
• In addition, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the network.
• You will ensure that targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
• You will play a proactive role in written and verbal communication with various departments, as you maintain Amazon’s exceptionally high levels of service, both for our customers and suppliers.
• We need you to step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture and to be comfortable conducting research into process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The right Candidates

Has communication skills, demonstrates ownership, leads by example in all areas of performance and has the ability to develop subject matter expertise in all operations processes. You will need to be able to work with data, but most importantly have the ability to keep the customer at the heart of every decision you make.

• Experience of using several different software platforms combined with the ability to learn new ones quickly.
• Possess strong computer literacy skills
• Data gathering and data analysis experience.
• Advance Microsoft Excel knowledge and use within a working environment to invent a solution/simplify a process
• Multi-tasking aptitude in a high demanding environment
• Good communication skills.
• The use of KPIs and self-driven actions to improve
• Team work and building high trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• High affinity to numbers and Mathematics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a Logistics or Transportation environment.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
