Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

- Responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for Imaging Upgrades in an assigned territory, and/or in a list of named accounts individually or as part of a One GE Healthcare team
- Identify/create new opportunities and work with sales leaders & account teams to continuously increase prospect funnel.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Accountable to achieve orders & sales OP target for assigned territory & modality
- Actively pursue opportunities in the sales funnel, converting those opportunities to sales with profitable margins
- Convey compelling value propositions to customer, lead the opportunity, qualify the customer needs, develop & present solutions proposals/quotations, & respond to customers' clinical/technical/process questions to successfully close increasingly complex clinical/technical/solution sales
- Create viable product configurations meeting customer needs effectively, while achieving optimum margin for GE
- Differentiate assigned product offering during the various stages of the sales process, effectively using GE resources/approved product marketing/product promotion material to actively support the customer through their decision-making process towards a successful outcome for GE
- Create business plans for assigned territory, formulate customer/account strategies and modality including but not limited to opportunity development, competitive strategies & targets and marketing plans
- Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their product/services
- Able to present/discuss the technology & clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers
- Maintain up to date market & competitor knowledge related to their product/solutions/services and continuously update their understanding of customers changing clinical and/or operational issues and challenges
- Promote product/solution and the company at relevant medical conferences/technical exhibitions
- Provide input to deal pricing strategy & ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities, use the sales tools to track, qualify and report opportunities, ensuring data quality and accuracy
- Act as the clinical/technical expert to establish and continuously develop the relationship with Service Sales Managers, Imaging Leaders, Regional Product Managers, Modality Sales Specialists, Account Managers and Marketing team to achieve sales target and drive growth
- Build strong business relationships and continuously strengthen those relationships in the assigned territory and modality

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Engineering or Healthcare related fields or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Minimum 5 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical/clinical field
- Solid understanding of Imaging market and products
- Excellent negotiation & sales closing skills
- Team oriented - ability to interface, motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English
- Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region

Desired Characteristics:

- Solid track record in customer facing jobs
- Technical or Clinical background
- Previous experience with, at least one, of the following products: MR and CT
