Overview of the role

Your role will be to implement and maintain the M&S brand image within the store, ensuring visual consistency. You will provide the customer with the most inspirational shopping experience possible. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with store colleagues and the RVM / Manager VM.

What you will do
- Implement Visual Merchandising Policies: Accurately apply all company Visual Merchandising guidelines, ensuring well-organized and easy-to-shop store grids.
- Mannequin Styling: Style mannequins in accordance with company policies, utilizing appropriate techniques and visual elements to aid in customer segmentation.
- Maintain Visual Standards : Ensure excellent visual standards across all areas of the store, including Business Units and window displays.
- Seasonal Launches and Events : Execute seasonal launches and events on time, maintaining brand consistency and awareness of company bestsellers and competitor trends.
- Collaborative Communication: Work effectively with store colleagues and the Regional VM Manager, regularly communicating to ensure brand consistency.
- Window Display Guidelines: Implement window display guidelines promptly, ensuring they align with the brand and corporate initiatives.
- VM Checklist and Marketing Initiatives: Maintain and adhere to the VM checklist, executing marketing initiatives within the store as required.
- Daily Liaison with Store Managers: Communicate daily with Store Managers to stay updated on VM processes, requirements, and personnel needs.

Requirements

Required Skills to be successful
- Minimum Experience: +3 years of experience
- Behavioral Competencies: Leadership, Strong Business Acumen and the ability to communicate with business partners at all levels

What equips you for the role
- Bachelor's degree or a diploma in sales, marketing or other related area of study from an accredited institution.
- Post Graduate degree in the field of marketing, visual merchandising, retailing or any other related field of study with 2 - 5 years' experience in visual merchandising.
