Job description / Role
My client is an international developer, with a growing portfolio in East Africa.
This vacancy for a Western expatriate Design Manager is to work on a high-rise residential project in Addis Ababa for a Client from the USA. Construction has just got underway on this project.
The primary focus of the role is to review the design completed to date and proactively review and redline drawings, propose best practice details and ensure incorporation of all comments to ensure a design that is 100 % complete, fully coordinated to ensure no delay to the construction project programme by 1 June 2019. It is also important to manage the Design contract to ensure time and cost targets can be met.
Salary:
USD
10,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Accommodation in 4 star hotel with other costs covered
Requirements
This position would suit an experienced Western expat Architect / Design Manager who is immediately available for a 3 month contract.
You will have had relevant experience on medium to high-rise building projects, in an international environment.
