Job description / Role

NSR Associates are seeking an Executive Director with a track record of construction and business management in Germany.

This person will understand P&L, managing people, delivering complex tech projects, strategy, forecasting and business development. As Executive Director you will take full responsibility for the Profit & Loss of this Construction Group covering Germany & Austria.

• Your remit will be to ensure that the highest international standards are achieved.
• Delivering customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• This group are proud to have a high level of negotiated work and this is down to the sole focus of customer satisfaction, collaboration and a contractually non aggressive approach.
• Clear track record of running a business unit or construction company in Germany.
• You will have a full insight into the market, clients, supply chain and key insights for the country.
• You will pull together highly efficient and motivated teams to deliver Complex Design & Build Projects ranging from €50-250 Million in Value.
• Based from the European Head office outside of Frankfurt in Germany.
• You will be expected to split your time between clients in the US, Ireland & Europe to achieve business goals and needs.

Management experience of the following:
• Managed a Construction Group / Business in Germany in a Chief Operations Officer, General Manager & Executive Director capacity.
• Track record of success within the country
• Able to lead and manage the group
• Track and open new business opportunities with local and international clients
• You have the client facing skills to win over people and influence decisions during the pre-construction stage
• Able to keep a calm head even when those around you may not

Salary:
EUR 16,666 to 18,333 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The right successful Director will have the following background:
• Core strength within Construction , Project Management & Business
• A track record of employment within reputable employers that NSR Associates have heard of
• Degree Educated
• 20 + Years Post Graduate Experience
• Open to travel across Europe when needed for business success
• FULLY Fluent in German & English – No exceptions
• Good communication skills and know how to motivate and lead from the front
• You must be able to start employment before the 1st of April 2024 latest.
