Aircraft Mechanic

Job description / Role

Job Duties involve:
• Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems, such as engines, avionics, and hydraulics.
• Performing scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft.
• Inspecting and testing aircraft components and systems to identify and diagnose issues.
• Performing work as per maintenance manuals, blueprints, and other documentation.
• Working with engineers and other aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used for each aircraft.
• Assisting with aircraft repair and servicing during emergency situations.
• Staying up to date with the latest aircraft and aircraft maintenance technologies and practices.

Salary:
AED 9,000 to 11,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Min 5 years relevant working experience in aircraft maintenance (not inclusive of training, OJT, and internship)
• Experience handling commercial aircrafts. Those with wide-body experience are highly preferred.

Possess Either:
• Degree in Engineering / AME / AMT / Aeronautical Engineering (in related field of study) (excluding Civil Engineering) OR
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic license / Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers' license (BAMEL) issued by DGCA / Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate issued by the Central Examination Organization (CEO) from year 2010
• Able to start work immediately or 1 month notice max.
