Project Director / Associate - Hong Kong - Mandarin speaking
Client a large international Architectural firm has an immediate opening for a Project Director / Senior Associate for its Hong Kong practice.
The successful candidate will be required to have an expert knowledge of the Chinese market and must speak the language. The role will mainly be client facing dealing with Chinese clients and China based projects.
Role: The person will be required to work alongside one of our Design Partners (English speaker) to assist in the management of a design team (approx. 20 - 25 people). It is very much a client facing role in the first instance. They will need to have managed large teams delivering/managing large scale mixed use projects - ideally within an international setting where they have to deal with the design lead not speaking Mandarin.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have strong retail planning experience. Large scale mixed use experience with a proven track record of design and delivering multiple complex retail projects.
They will be required to oversee the delivery of complex mixed use designs, ensuring at all times client relationships and deliverables are met and delivered to the highest quality standards. They would be responsible for resource allocation and other systems necessary for the successful delivery of projects ensuring profitability.
