Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to join a global financial services firm in their Hong Kong office. Reporting to the Head of Compliance the incumbent for this position will be responsible for assisting the Head of Compliance in identifying issues and risks to the business and recommend solutions that align with the strategic plan of the organization.
Requirements:
• Provide advice on compliance issues to all areas of the business.
• Review, monitor and execute the company’s compliance policies.
• Assist the Head of Compliance in Identifying issues and risks and recommend solutions that align with the strategic plan of the organization.
• Participate in the research of new products and services to ensure that compliance and operational risks are identified.
• Developing, managing and maintaining the compliance monitoring framework.
• Work collaboratively with all business lines to advise on applicability of requirements to new and existing business initiatives.
• Supporting the institutions regulatory change agenda.
• Keep up to date on applicable regulatory developments, identifying and communicating the impact of changes to regulations to the business.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7+ years experience within compliance preferably from the financial sector.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Significant interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across the business to build strong partnerships, exercise influence and achieve results.
• Exceptional written and spoken English language skills in addition to the local language requirements.
• Excellent organizational, attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple, deadline driven projects in a fast-paced environment.
