We have a suitable opportunity in the Professional Product Division for the position of Commercial Controller. In this people manager role, you will be responsible for driving the commercial controlling of all channels of the Professional Product Division of L’Oréal India.

The candidate should have at least 8-12 years of professional experience in FMCG sector. The location of the job will be Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:
• End to end financial responsibility of managing the Structural/Promotional Discounts (Minoration) for the Division and timely payouts.
• Driving the Channel Profitability with long term horizon
• Setting up and driving high standards of compliance in the commercial areas
• Reviewing and implementation of the commercial policy
• Monthly Financial Closing and preparation of Trends and Budgets as per the Group calendar
• Full understanding of systems (SAP/DMS/Compass) flow and which P&L line item any decision impacts. Strong expertise in SAP is desired.
• Strong support for the rollout of new DMS
• Working very closely with commercial teams to enable them to achieve business results and objectives.
• GTM strategy review
• Reviewing the Excess & Obsolete Inventory and Current Assets (Stock and Debtors) for the Division
• Should be able to develop an overall understanding of the Division P&L
• Provide timely analysis and inputs to Division Controller and other stakeholders.
• Driving margins and JBPs of E-Commerce clients.
• Full visibility of stock in trade of all channels.
• Driving RGM in each business channel
• Working on Value Creation Projects

• Timely and Accurate Reporting
• Adherence to internal control norms and handling of audits
• Supporting Brand GMs and NSMs in decision making
• Improvement of Commercial Policies
• Maintaining Channel Profitability and Discount levels as per reported Budget and Trend
• Develop an understanding of the overall P&L including all lines and support the Division Controller for decision making.
• Grow and develop people.

Education:
