General Manager - Transmission Line / OHTL Projects (Tendering)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Tender/estimation T&D:
1) Lead the tendering and estimation team
2) Identification/Selection of EPC business opportunities for Transmission & Distribution projects for bidding.
3) Co-ordinate with various stakeholders like the design team, engineering, commercial, supply chain and legal
4) Prepare / guide in the preparation of the Bid and coordinate for the risk review (as applicable) and hold the periodic review of the bid to ensure compliance with customer enquiry and timely submission of bid to the Customer
5) Co-ordinate transfer of all essential inputs/data/tender requirements to the Construction Estimation Engineer for project costing.
6) Play a Key role in developing a strategy for Bid pricing and winning.
7) Analyze success and failures in tendering including deducing the price

Customer Connect:
1) Customer networking & collect information on Customers' requirements and future projects share responsibility in customer relationship building.
2) Study the market trends, competitor portfolio analysis, latest technologies, joint venture, political, and social developments of various geographic locations and formulate the strategy for the team
3) Ensure the techno-commercial document is prepared as per the specifications and is submitted within the specified timeframe
4) Formulation of the joint venture and formation of agreement with JV partners after finalizing the scope of work
