Job description / Role
Key tasks
- The TL - FO is responsible and accountable for the entire operation at the Reception area of the Hotel whilst on duty.
- All computer input, manual filing procedures and statistical information relevant to the guest in house must be of high quality.
- You should strive to provide the most comprehensive and accurate information, to telephone callers, guests and other staff and Departments of the Hotel.
- The Opera PMS contains a comprehensive guest history option, and it is the responsibility of the TL - FO to ensure that Sofitel Mumbai BKC has the most accurate and most personalized individual guest histories.
- Responsible to ensure that all information on the registration card filled by the guest is keyed correctly into the PMS, as per the defined Sofitel Mumbai BKC Standards.
- This practice will allow the production of true and correct statistical information, which will in turn enhance the overall Hotel operation.
- To ensure that proper Brand Standard check in and check out are performed at the front desk at all times.
- Ensures that you are completely aware of the range of services and facilities that Sofitel Mumbai BKC will provide to its guests and visitors.
- Ensures that the Reception area is not left unattended at any time whilst on duty.
- To be completely aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures of Sofitel Mumbai BKC, and the Front Desk's responsibilities in an emergency.
