Job description / Role
LUKOIL Mid-East (West Qurna -2 Project) is currently searching the Iraqi national candidate to occupy Customs Clearance Specialist.
Location: West Qurna-2, Basra, Iraq
Work Schedule: shift, 14/14 days
Responsibilities:
- Completion of the electronic applications with regards to the logistics and customs documents processing
- Checking and approval of shipping documents and contracts (English/Arabic) in accordance with the Operator's Procedures and legislation requirements of the Republic of Iraq
- Preparation of the required documents for the customs clearance operations (up to ~100 contracts and ~600 customs clearance requests annually)
- Preparation and maintenance of electronic archive and database for shipping documentation related to imported/exported goods
- Preparation of the Operator’s outgoing letters, bilingual (English/Arabic)
Requirements
- Higher Education in Management / Petroleum Engineering / Economics / Law
- Experience in the similar functional area (shipping documents preparation, logistics, procurement, customs clearance) not less than 3 years
- Good knowledge of Iraqi Customs Law, customs clearance formalities of commercial and levy exempted shipments, import/export customs regimes procedure on permanent and temporary basis, special permits requirements, INCOTERMS 2010
- English language – Upper-Intermediate
- Free user for Microsoft Office and SAP
