About the role

As our Sales & Account Manager (Corporate Travel & B2B) you will efficiently plan, develop, manage and organise our local and multinational accounts. You will monitor our sales targets to ensure the achievement of sales targets. You will promote the image and contracts of the company with both Government and local agencies. You will monitor competitor activities and market developments across the region; recommending changes to ensure competitiveness within corporate travel market. You will ensure maximum market exposure and revenue for dnata Travel Iraq. You will constantly keep in touch with the Principals/ Trade Partners/ Clients/ Accounts to ensure that the standards of service agreed are maintained and delivered to their satisfaction. Based in our Erbil office in Iraq, this role requires you to have written and spoken fluency in both English and Arabic, and you must be willing to travel around Iraq and the Gulf region as required.

What you will do

- Responsible for the achievement of the overall sales targets by sourcing and prospecting for new business, as well as managing existing business to increase revenue
- Manage MNC, government and local accounts and B2B agents, with a key focus on developing contacts in Iraq market to increase corporate sales and enhance business with existing clients.
- Client relationship management at senior decision maker's level to ensure the provision of specialized and professional services is delivered and revenue targets are achieved
- Negotiate contracts with current and new suppliers, ground handlers and carriers to ensure better deals, with the objective of improved competitive price and increased profit margins.
- Leverage and build synergies across all departments and local travel agencies to generate more revenue and reduce cos
- Manage and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve planned growth and achievement of sales targets, increased awareness, and credibility of dnata Travel Iraq in the market
- Identify, develop and explore opportunities to maintain current and potential future business opportunities with the objective of achieving/ exceeding the overall business objective
- Evaluate, monitor, and forecast the performance of outlets and prepare sales plans /reports to support in achieving the targets. Recommend or implement action to counter competitor activity.
- Keep abreast of market developments and changes to make innovative recommendations to ensure the business remains competitive and profitable.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
What you will bring to the team

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience in a Commercial or Sales role within the Travel or Hospitality industry in the Gulf region
- Strong communication skills, fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Willing to travel within Iraq and Gulf countries (if required)
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Good commercial understanding with the proven ability to review and improve business processes
- Must hold a valid driving license

You have an edge if you have

- Proficiency in the Kurdish Language
- Experience in conducting service level reviews.
- Experience in people management with strong interaction skills
