Commissioning Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of our company's systems and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment at client sites
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and performance of the installed systems
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define commissioning scope and requirements
- Create and maintain commissioning documentation and reports
- Provide technical support and training to clients and on-site personnel
- Identify and resolve any issues or defects during the commissioning process
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards during commissioning activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes and best practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
