Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Fitter to join our team in Ireland. The Instrument Fitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument malfunctions and implement necessary repairs
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize instrument performance and reliability
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with instruments and in industrial environments
- Document work activities, including maintenance and repair tasks, and maintain accurate records

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Instrument Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting
- Thorough understanding of instrumentation principles, techniques, and equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose instrument issues
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in instrument installation and maintenance
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with engineers and other team members
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in industrial environments
- Certification or training in instrument fitting or a related field is a plus
