Orbital Welder

Job description / Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Orbital Welder to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes and techniques, with a focus on orbital welding. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate orbital welding equipment to join metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Inspect welded joints and conduct quality checks to identify and address any defects
- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Orbital Welder or similar role
- Certification in orbital welding techniques is preferred
- Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and materials
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
