Quality Control Inspector

Job description / Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products through thorough inspections and adherence to industry standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards, and collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control data
- Operate and maintain various testing equipment and tools to perform quality control tests and measurements
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
- Thorough understanding of quality control procedures, standards, and regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality control software
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and communicate quality issues effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Certification in quality control or a related field is a plus
