Role Summary:

The Product Application Specialist supports sales of the General Imaging ultrasound portfolio as the clinical/technical expert. They are to differentiate GE's ultrasound product offerings from competition, convey compelling value propositions. Qualify identified opportunities, execute marketing initiatives, develop & present solutions proposals & respond to customers' clinical/technical questions and demonstrations.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Help in running demo's, workshops and marketing activities
- In conjunction with commercial team maintain strong business relationships, respond to key decision makers needs and support with pain points
- Influencing a wide range of customers, explaining the benefits of GE HC GI Ultrasound and teaching users how to best utilize our ultrasound imaging products
- With practical experience of clinical ultrasound, you'll be comfortable demonstrating a variety of scanning technologies to customers and end users across EGM region
- Expected to provide training and guidance, interest and curios in keeping up to date with the latest ultrasound developments and sharing your knowledge with clients and colleagues
- Financial performance Is accountable to support in achieving the product orders & sales targets for assigned markets and territories
- Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to ultrasound GE products
- Create viable product configurations which meet customer needs effectively
- Adhere to all applicable GE and GE Healthcare compliance policies, codes and training requirements
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge/experience and minimum strong experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field (e.g. sonographer, application role) or ultrasound field
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
- Ability develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Strong team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as perfect command of English
- Strong presentation skills with ability to synthesize and explain complex issues
- Ability to travel extensively and be at customer sites at least 70% of the working time

Specific Goals:

- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Additional Quality Specific Goals: 4
- Maintain knowledge of and understand all applicable Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or local / Int'l Law is broken.
- Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Desired Characteristics:

- Post graduate degree in physics or related technical/engineering/ clinical disciplines or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Previous experience as a sonography/ application / clinical specialist in Ultrasound and or healthcare professional within a hospital/private practice setting
