We prevent, respond to, and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.

Our team helps clients plan, finance, manage and deliver large scale capital projects and infrastructure. You'll help the team manage the risks of a capital project through planning, managing costs, developing goals that align with the business, and records management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for project management and controls, aligning with organizational objectives.

- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Provide guidance and direction to ensure successful project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

- Work on masterplans, design management, construction management, asset development, CAPEX optimization, contract and claim reviews, dispute resolution, supply chain & procurement, project monitoring and controls, and governance across multiple industries such as real estate and infrastructure.

- Support in the development project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, ensuring proactive management of project risks.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide regular project status reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of project activities.

- Assist in estimating project costs, monitoring budgetary adherence, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.

- Supervise and oversee project controls, including monitoring project budget, tracking cost, supervising expenditure, processing payments, ensuring adherence to schedule and reporting any deviations or schedule slippages.

- Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards.

- Support in procurement activities including drafting RFPs, administering tenders and evaluating technical and commercial bids

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

- Oversee the claims management process, including reviewing contractual claims, analyzing project documentation and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.

- Advise clients on contractual entitlement of claims and associated cost and time impacts

Required Language Skills:

Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is a plus

Years of Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in project management and project controls, including cost and time management, procurement and tendering, reporting and communications, preferably in the Middle East region .
