Job Description & Summary
The CP&I Service Tower Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and providing subject matter expertise and quality oversight for the related Managed Services proposition. This role entails effective collaboration with stakeholders and leadership of a cross-functional team across various delivery centers

We prevent, respond to, and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.

Our team helps clients plan, finance, manage and deliver large scale capital projects and infrastructure. You'll help the team manage the risks of a capital project through planning, managing costs, developing goals that align with the business, and records management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

- Develop and implement strategic plans for project management and controls, aligning with organizational objectives.

- Provide guidance and direction to ensure successful project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

- Work on masterplans, design management, construction management, asset development, CAPEX optimization, contract and claim reviews, dispute resolution, supply chain & procurement, project monitoring and controls, and governance across multiple industries such as real estate and infrastructure.

- Support in the development project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, ensuring proactive management of project risks.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide regular project status reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of project activities.

- Assist in estimating project costs, monitoring budgetary adherence, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.

- Supervise and oversee project controls, including monitoring project budget, tracking cost, supervising expenditure, processing payments, ensuring adherence to schedule and reporting any deviations or schedule slippages.

- Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards.

- Support in procurement activities including drafting RFPs, administering tenders and evaluating technical and commercial bids

- Oversee the claims management process, including reviewing contractual claims, analyzing project documentation and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.

- Advise clients on contractual entitlement of claims and associated cost and time impacts

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

In addition to client-related activities as per above, the Capital Projects & Infrastructure Service Tower Lead will be responsible for oversight of the CP&I Managed Services team as per below:

- Oversees operational execution and delivery of CP&I Managed Services in line with business objectives.

- Oversees the delivery team day-to-day, including providing oversight for key client deliverables / outputs, and provides recommendations for service improvement.

- Assumes overall accountability for the oversight and successful execution of all engagements within the CP&I Managed Services portfolio.

- Supports with recruitment and onboarding activities for CP&I Managed Services delivery staff.

- Oversees quality reviews and audits to ensure that delivery complies with established standards and client expectations and leads quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and observations.

- Sets overall resource planning strategies to match project demands with available talent within the CP&I service function.

- Monitors resourcing of the CP&I Managed Services delivery staff and works with the relevant teams to support utilisation and effective deployment of staff

- Working with the business to design, develop, and implement comprehensive service delivery policies, standards, and processes that align with business objectives and industry best practices for CP&I Managed Services.

- Ensures that all function related activities are in line with established policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

- Holds overall accountability for SLA / OLA compliance across engagements and implements corrective actions to address any deviations, and continuously improves service delivery.

- Stays updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain best practices.

- Provides ongoing pastoral support and people oversight for the CP&I Managed Services delivery staff including overseeing career coaching and allocations, performance management and promotion processes and moderation decisions and people related issues and escalations.

- Identifies CP&I Managed Services learning and development needs and develops and oversees the implementation of a training plan that includes learning resources.

- Monitors CP&I Managed Services delivery staff engagement, wellbeing and attrition levels and implements initiatives to support a positive work environment.

- Leads, mentors, and motivates the CP&I Managed Services delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence, high performance, and continuous learning.
