Consultants are highly adaptable members of the Research & Consultancy team. They are responsible for project management and providing technical support and inputs across a range of projects in our core areas of expertise. On a day-to-day basis they will work across a portfolio of projects of varying sizes – providing support to workstreams on our medium to large sized projects and, at times, leading on smaller pieces of work. Our Consultants are strong communicators, and problem solvers with a ‘can-do’ attitude and are able to work flexibly and adaptably across different contexts.
This post require fluent Arabic (speaking and writing) skills. Our work in Jordan and the Middle East is growing rapidly and both posts will contribute to strategic growth in the region as well as contribute to the delivery of key projects in the region as well as in EDT’s other markets (Africa and the UK).

As an (international development) Consultant, with a focus on delivery, you will provide high quality research and consultancy services to donors, governments and charities internationally, as part of an ambitious and dynamic team which sits at the heart of Education Development Trust. You will also play a significant role in shaping the direction and growth of the consultancy business, with opportunities to lead product development, policy and thought leadership initiatives.

Location of role: Ideally located in Jordan (with significant opportunity for remote working). We will accept applications from any country where EDT has an office as long as the criteria for the role are met fully.

Closing date: Monday 9th January 2023, midday UK time

Interviews: Virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams will take place from Jan 16th 2023

Please note, we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and reserve the right to close our vacancies early.
