DevOps Engineer - Test Automation
Jordan, United Arab Emirates
Fetchr is continuing to grow an and we're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to develop and automate our infrastructure. Based out of our Amman, Jordan offices you'll be a pivotal member of our growing global DevOps team working closely with our Amman, Jordan based testing team and our core engineering team in Dubai, UAE.

Requirements:
Your new role:
- Participate in Agile scrum team activities including daily standups, release planning, sprint planning and end of sprint ceremonies.
- Automated testing of applications & Continuous Integration / TDD / BDD, Postman, Newman.
- Support execution of test automation strategy including identification of candidate manual test cases for automation.
- Support automation and integration of build, test, and deployment activities
- Identify changes that are necessary to maintain optimal system performance
- Manage process and validate quality of deliverables produced by the team.
- Provide automated regression test scripts for regression testing of all previous features,requirements, and defects completed in the prior sprint, primarily using Selenium Java
Requirements
What you'll need to succeed in your new role:
- Minimally a Bachelors in Computer Science or related engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 1+ years' experience in DevOps .
- Good knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps development process.
- Solid scripting experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python or Ruby
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
- Cloud Native tools: Jenkins / AWS. (Docker is a plus)
