Finance Manager - Amman, Jordan

This Company is a Global Market Leader and is recognized as one of the world’s largest suppliers of fresh and prepared produce.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a pivotal role and requires a very strong and confident candidate who is extremely competent in all areas of finance; competency in budget control and financial analysis along with experience of legal aspects within such a role are essential.

Equally, an ability to challenge upwards to a strong management team and demonstrate efficiency and business acumen is an absolute must.

Requirements

A natural leader, you will have had at least five years in a senior finance position, be a lateral thinker with a very dynamic personality and strength of character. Key accountabilities will include controlling the financial reporting and statements, ensuring adherence to internal and external audit requirements, controlling each departmental budget, setting a clear accounting cycle, creating reporting deadlines, following reporting deadlines set by corporate and ensuring compliance in line with external and internal audit. You will manage a team of 3 direct reports and approximately 30 employees with the expected efficiency and leadership skills required at such a level.

This role also acts as a Business Partner to the General Manager and Operational Managers and the successful candidate will have an accounting qualification with at least five years in a senior finance position within an FMCG or Manufacturing background and be experienced in SAP and Oracle and experience of SOX.

Experienced in audits, a background in manufacturing is necessary and our client would definitely prefer an FMCG background and an understanding of how a Corporate Organization operates, along with strong management skills, is essential as is a strong character and very strong leadership skills. You will be a guaranteed team player with excellent written and spoken English and a flexible demeanor.
