Job description / Role
Head of Payroll - Shared Services is responsible for developing and controlling all necessary processes to accomplish the organization's payroll processing objectives. He/ she assures that compensation is administered on a timely manner according to company policy and employment law.
Key Accountabilities
• Ensure an effectual implementation of the human capital management program for his team including a systematic follow up on employee turnover rate, satisfaction index, and retention rates
• Develop, implement and enhance all processes and procedures to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department whilst owning the successful implementation and management of all internal controls
• Prepare the department's annual budget and manage the operations within the parameters of the approved budget
• Create, implement and oversee a set of operational metrics measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
• Keep abreast of industry trends, challenges, opportunities as well as market activities in order to ensure competitive edge
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders to foster business improvement and objective achievement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree is a major plus
• 10 years of experience in Accounting or Payroll, out of which 5 in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in English
