Employment: Full Time

HR Manager - Based in Jordan

A global FMCG brand is seeking a HR Manager to lead the HR operations for Jordan reporting into the Europe HQ.

This role will oversee 300 employees in Jordan and manage a team of 6 in HR.

HR Policies, Procedures & Practices:
• Manage HR department and co-ordinate various implementation through HR team
• Assists and advises senior management on Human Resources issues.
• Formulating, recommending, and implementing effective HR policies, and procedures for the company.
• Determine and recommend employee relations practices.
• Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with company HR policies and regional labor laws and regulations.
• Keeping Group HR informed of significant problems that may jeopardize the achievement of objectives.

Compensation, Benefits & Rewards:
• Maintain salary gradings as per global standards
• Ensure Employees' medical & health insurance plans in line with local government rules & policies.
• Supervise the process of job evaluation by researching and evaluating competitor compensation and benefit packages.

Recruitment & Selection:
• Plan and manage company recruitment & selection processes, policies, and practices.
• Conduct job interviews for middle, senior, and executive level candidates and review all recruitment and selection processes

Performance Management:
• Manages performance management system to measure individual performance and facilitate the identification of training and development needs.

Employee Relations:
• 1 Develop and implement an employee related culture that supports positive relations among employees and emphasize quality and continuous improvement.

Training & Development:
• Plan, manage, organize, and evaluate trainings which will fulfill the professional requirements and will enable employees to ensure effective performance.
• Manage employee Induction programs to ensure new employees are properly inducted into the company.
• Oversee implementation of programs through HR staffs, monitor administration standards.

• Will need to be based in Amman, Jordan and be a Jordanian national for legislative purposes
• Background in FMCG companies is ideal
• At least 7 years experience in generalist HR with at least 2 years in a management role
• Strong communication skills
• Proven experience in an operational HR role
