Job description / Role
The Company
· Leading EPC Contractor for the Oil, Gas & Power sectors in the Middle East.
· They have been established for over 30 years and their clients include the regions leading IOC’s, NOC’s and internal EPC contractors.
· They have an opening in their Jordan office for a Project Control Engineer.
The Responsibilities
· Determines project objectives and contributes to the development of a comprehensive project plan. Responsible for the budgeting and cost management of the project.
· Interfacing with the Procurement, Engineering and Finance Departments to develop and maintain a detailed cost control system.
· Performs analytical reviews and checks of cost reporting documentation, and present cost status and forecast updates to the Project Management and client.
· The project post is Amman, Jordan with frequent travels to Iraq; and when needed, will be posted at the project sites in Iraq on a rotational basis;
· May be required to live on an international job site working on a 12-hour basis, for 7 days per week.
Requirements
The Candidate
· Bachelor's degree in a related area;
· At least 10 years of experience in the field in the EPC sector, ideally within Oil & Gas or Energy.
· PMP certificate is an advantage.
