Job description / Role
Linum Consult´s client is a key European civil infrastructure company. They are currently seeking a Project Manager for a water data project to join their team in Amman, Jordan on a 10 month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the Water business.
• Strong experience in data collection, data quality control, data management and processing, water sector key indicators, and capacity building.
• They should know how to use the water data to make important decisions advising the end client at State level.
• Knowledge about water governance.
• They will need to get in contact with all stakeholders with the aim to coordinate them and reach an agreement about the use of the water data.
• Experience in institutional strengthening.
• They will need to know how to enhance Stakeholders capacity in terms of water data use.
• Leadership skills and able to manage the team.
Requirements
• At least 15 years of professional experience in the Water Sector.
• At least 5 years working with or within a government agency or Authority responsible for water management.
• University or Master degree in Engineering or an equivalent educational background.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon Libya, Morocco, Palestine or Tunisia is a plus.
FINANCIAL PACKAGE
• Package on offer is based on a day rate with an additional accommodation allowance and transportation allowance working a 5 day work week, preferably on single status.
