Job Description & Summary
Technology Risk & Quality provides advisory risk & quality advice with respect to a new PwC technology solutions being developed or acquired. We support leadership in various responsibilities including execution and delivery of technology risk reviews and documentation and general operations support including communications, reporting and special projects.

As part of the team's expansion, we are looking for someone with a technology background and an enthusiasm to learn and develop expertise in the management of risks associated with technology. You must be able to flex your style; adapt to changing business needs; work collaboratively; manage stakeholders and be able to build strong relationships.

What will you be doing?
Working closely with the PwC Dubai team colleagues, the candidate will  help business teams through the clearance and approval process for development of technology solutions by PwC Middle East. 

The candidate will work with teams across the business in the Middle East, risk and technology SMEs and their global counterparts, to identify and mitigate risk concerns associated with new digital solutions. The role will also include a focus on identifying opportunities for improvements to our team's processes for reviewing and assessing risks associated with digital and technology development and deployment. 

Key responsibilities:
• Articulating technology risks for the solution and to engage with specialist functions in the firm to identify mitigation measures
• Creating a robust audit trail for such consultations and approvals through appropriate documentation
• Analysis of the current processes for assessing risks associated with the firm's use of technology, identification of improvements to drive consistency, ensure efficiency and leverage the tools available, including those being developed by the Global risk team.
• Building solid, collaborative relationships with team members and fostering a productive teamwork environment with colleagues across the network.
• Managing projects and resources effectively with appropriate attention to detail.
• Exhibiting organizational skills and flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.

Requirements

Essential skills & Qualification experience needed for the role:
• Technology expertise and Technology education background (or appreciation of Technology) would be desired as the candidate is expected to work closely with the Technology Teams for managing the R&Q processes.
• A good understanding of the role of risk management in helping an organisation achieve its business goals is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of product management lifecycle including maintenance and support.
• Ability to analyse and document processes, to identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and successfully influence change.
• An empathetic, solutions focused, pragmatic approach, combined with an ability to apply quality standards and recognise showstoppers. Ability to interact with and effectively facilitate a wide range of stakeholders at all levels within multiple functions, both technical and nontechnical, across all grades, whilst building strong relationships.
